Update - Long Overdue!!

We have been busy with all sorts of summer activities and I have not been good about blogging them! Connor and Kalli are growing like crazy!! Kalli will be 1 next week. She started walking about 2 weeks ago and just putts around pretty good now. She has 6 teeth and is a petite little thing. She has such a cute personality. She is getting pretty attached to her mother (more than I would like). She loves to play with Connor's cars and make the vroom vroom sounds like she is driving them. She also has quite the temper!! She gets really upset when she doesn't get her way or you take something away from her. She bangs her head on the floor all the time which just adds to her being upset. She loves to play with Connor (which he doesn't always like). She can go up the stairs by herself and is slowly learning to go down (she has fallen down the stairs twice in the last 2 weeks).

Connor is getting to the point where he really likes having a friend around. When he is bored he says, "but, mom, I don't have a friend to play with." Connor is a very worrysome child (I wonder where he gets that???). He loves to watch the news - police cars, fire trucks, etc. and the whole time he is watching it, he asks me why are they doing that? what did they just say? etc. He is also the worst back seat driver in the world!!!! He is always making comments like, slow down mom, stop, check to see if there are any cars coming, wait for those cars, it's green go, it's red stop, they're working on the road so slow down mom.... I don't know why he cares so much about how I drive but he does. Hopefully it's just a phase - we'll see.
