Broken Window
I should have taken a picture - but didn't think of it at the time. So here's the shortened version of our broken window. About a month ago we went on a walk for family home evening. We had left the back door open but locked the front door and shut the garage door. When we returned from our walk, Connor went to the back of the house to go inside. Matt and I opened the garage door with the keyless entry and went in the garage to put the stroller away. When we tried to open the door into the house - it was locked. Matt went around to all the other doors and they were all locked. Connor was no where to be found. We continued to look through all windows we could see through and pound on the doors and yell his name and still no sign of Connor. After doing this for quite some time, we had NO way to get into our house - no key - NOTHING. We finally decided the only way we were going to get in was to break a window. So Matt got a bat out of the garage and broke the laundry room window to get it. When we got in, Connor was crying and scared because he couldn't find us. He was in his bedroom and didn't dare move because he was scared. He had wet his pants from standing there and being scared. Somehow he had locked all the doors trying to look for us. Yes, we had a long talk with him about coming to the door when we call his name - so hopefully this never happens again. Thanks to the neighbor for helping Matt clean up the glass. After 3 hours of cleaning up and $48.00 later, we have a new window. KIDS KIDs KIDS

Ashley,
I laughed out loud reading your posts. I can relate to every one of your experiences and now being a bit removed think they are quite humorous. Connor cracks me up! And why is it the little ones have the hottest tempers. I'm convinced it is a survival mechanism...no one will mess with them.
So good to read what's going on with you guys.
Jaime
