I can't believe my little Kalli is 2 Years Old! Where has the time gone! Kalli was so excited for her birthday cake and presents. She kept saying she wanted to eat her happy birthday (birthday cake). We were able to have both grandparents come spend the evening with her for cake and ice cream and to open her presents. She received a couple of dolls, blocks, a little purse, puzzles, clothes and a play camera.
We took Kalli in for her 2 year well check and she had a huge growth spurt the last 4 months. She weights 25 pounds and went from the 25th percentile in height to the 50th percentile. She is now 33 inches tall. (That explains why the pants I just bought her a couple of months ago, seem a little short). She is quite the little talker and says a lot of different words. I love the way she says Connor's name. She likes to copy Connor and do everything he does and say everything he says. I have never heard the words "I can do it" so much before in my life!! Whenever she gets hurts she cries for a minute and then says, "I ok". It's so cute the way she says it! She no longer takes naps (yes, very sad for mom). She sleeps about as much as Connor and she is 2 1/2 years younger than him. (she gets this from her father). We love having Kalli as part of our family. She is so much fun and a very happy child and is not shy at all. Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
